Is providing Privacy consent mandatory?

Providing consent is voluntary. However, there is mandatory personal information necessary for us to deliver services, fulfil contractual obligations, verify your identity, comply with legal requirements, or provide requested products and features. You are not necessarily required to provide consent, but that would result in you not being able to use the application.

What is the purpose of collecting my personal information?

All personal data is collected and processed under strict purpose limitation principles, restricted to the following objectives:

  • Executing Credential Evaluations — Processing academic records to analyze, translate, and evaluate foreign educational qualifications against standardized metrics.
  • Account Administration & Communication — Managing your account, verifying identity, sending progress updates, and delivering completed evaluation reports.
  • Platform Security & Fraud Prevention — Monitoring system health, detecting fraudulent document submissions, and defending against unauthorized access.
  • Continuous Quality Assurance — Using de-identified or aggregated data to improve our automated translation models and evaluation accuracy.

What happens if I do not provide consent?

If you choose not to provide consent, you will not be able to use the MEP application as we will be unable to create or manage your account, process service requests, verify your identity, communicate service-related information, or meet legal and contractual obligations. As a result, some or all services may be unavailable, restricted, delayed, or terminated.

Can I withdraw my consent after providing it?

Yes. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal, regulatory, or contractual restrictions. Withdrawal of consent will not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal. Note that withdrawing consent may result in termination of services where processing your personal information is necessary.

Once an evaluation is finalized and administrative retention periods expire, you may submit a formal deletion request. Upon verification, your uploaded academic transcripts and associated personal identifiers will be permanently purged from our active production systems.
